Newborn portraits

                                        After pregnancy, arguably the                                            next most significant time in a                                          womans life is becoming a                                                  parent, a mother.
                                        Our Newborn sessions  focus                                            on the parent connection and                                            on the new member of the                                                family, in a clean and timeless                                          way. 
                                        We've gravitated back over the last few years, to our roots: capturing baby and the new family in a clean neutral, more relaxed way.
         Altough we still provide a few posed images in the session, we aim for capturng baby against a clean white background allowing baby to stand out and be  'The Star" in a relaxed and natural pose. 
          That being said, if you are a long time followers of ours and love some of the more colourful traditionally posed images, let us know as we can certainly accomodate you! 
            As a mother of two, and an ex-ICU nurse I have the experience and knowledge required to not only ensure baby's safety while in our studio, but also with every pose and limb placement. I've trained (in-person) with some of the best intenationally renowned photographers in the world. There are MANY things you cannot learn from watching videos
on You-Tube!           
             Ideally newborn images are done within the
first 2 weeks of birth. However, we know that there are often many reasons to prevent you from booking your session within that magical first 2 week period. Maybe baby was a preemie, maybe she had a few health issues, maybe YOU had a few health issues... whatever the reason we can still accomodate you.       
            Although we book 4-6weeks ahead (ideally), we also leave a few spaces open in a week, as we never know when scheduled babies will actually arrive! 
   
We have three Newborn sessions to chose from, all including digital files AND prints, and start at $495
